Savvytek Kicks off Oracle E-Business Suite

Implementation at Al Rajihi Bank in KSA


Savvytek, the pioneers in Oracle Apps Projects in the Region, were proudly awarded the implementation project of Oracle E-Business Suite at Al-Rajihi Bank - KSA on September 2009.

The award came as a reflection of Savvytek continuous success in the area of Oracle Technology and Application deployment in different sectors in Saudi and the Region, and as an affirmation of the Banks confidence in Savvytek evident commitment and quality of service on different levels.

Savvytek engagement includes the implementation and customization of Oracle HR, Oracle Payroll and Self Service modules that are meant to streamline and enhance the efficiency of the Human Resource Management Process within the Bank, based on open-architecture standards and worldwide HR best practices. Savvytek offered business advantage of the implemented Oracle applications included providing an effective and modular solution based on a customized, scalable and re-usable platform.

In addition, Savvytek will provide the Bank technical and business teams with sufficient knowledge transfer and certified training services to facilitate proper system usage and operation as well as maximizing the return of investment for this project.

Savvytek views this award as the cornerstone of a long-term and valuable partnership with the Al-Rajihi Bank towards more successful engagements in the future.

Al Rajihi Bank was founded in 1957 and is considered one of the  largest Islamic Banks in the world with total assets of SR 124 billion (US$33 bn), paid up capital of US$4 billion and an employee base of over 7452 associates. With over 50 years of experience in banking and trading activities, the various individual establishments under the Al Rajihi name were merged into the umbrella “Al Rajihi Trading and Exchange Corporation” in 1978 and it was in this year that the Bank was also established as a Saudi shareholding company.
