The Saudi Royal Guard Launches Oracle EBS

Implementation by Savvytek

Another successful implementation of Oracle EBS Applications by Savvytek was signed off last month at the Saudi Royal Guard Department. The implementation that was completed in four months, is considered a strategic step for the Royal Guards towards streamlining and enhancing the efficiency of their internal procedures, especially the Human Resource and Recruitment Management processes.

Savvytek involvement included the implementation and customization of Oracle HR and Oracle iRecruitment modules based on open-architecture and scalable platform, in addition to Oracle Apps Business Intelligence tools that facilitate generating extensible and analytical reports on multiple levels.

The quick and remarkable success of this project is owed to the high levels of expertise and extensive knowledge Savvytek consultants showed during and after the term of implementation. Savvytek consultants followed industry Best Practices and accelerated approaches to match the targeted project deliverables and time frames, keeping in mind the criticality of the RG role and strict regulations around their internal processes.

On the other hand, it was due to the Royal Guards’ high commitment and cooperation that proper knowledge transfer was sponsored and change management measures were correctly applied, to facilitate effective and smooth commissioning of the new system; thus raising the opportunity for success.

The system utilized Oracle and Red Hat latest solutions for high availability that were designed and installed by Savvytek Technology team, in means to practice the highest levels of business continuity and system fail over, and establish a solid base for future scalability and extensibility of the system
